Seven Stages of Production
Moulds
The story begins with talented mould makers who delicately hand craft designs on silicon and rubber moulds.
|
Casting
Casts are then made based on the Italian technology from “Atos Besana”-Milan. Casting machines incorporate a centrifugal rubber mould process using alloy of white metal that consists of mainly tin and antimony.
|
Trimming & Polishing
The first shiny step is taken when great attention is given to the trimming and polishing process. This gives the jewelry its soft, shiny, and grainless surface.
|
PlatingAt the heart of the glittery matter is the purification process of ultrasonic cleansing followed by a degreasing procedure. All products are then dipped in either a shiny or matte preliminary plating layer. The outermost layer is either rhodium or gold from OMG, Germany with 10mils = 0.25 micron minimum thicknesses.
